The Mego World’s Greatest Super Heroes were a big toy line for me in the mid to late 1970s. We had a mixture of DC and Marvel figures and probably the Teen Titans figures (Robin, Aqualad, Speedy, Kid Flash and Wonder Girl) were my favorite for a time. The knees of the figures were prone to seizing up and breaking, which was unfortunate. We got a couple of replacements but also glued their joints there. Of the original figures, I ended up keeping Spider-Man, Green Goblin, a Shazam / Captain Marvel, and a Hulk which had replacement pants my mom had sewn.
The Hall of Justice was on of the big play sets I had before the arrival of Star Wars. The Translocation Chamber was actually pretty finicky to work and move the figure over to the viewing screen and it was similarly challenging as a kid to get the right location to show as I’m sliding different panels on the built in tracks. Still, I remember many summer days playing with it in front of the TV.
